All About Playdates
Playdates have become an important part of our group for many reasons. The main reason is that since we have a very large group, when we have main group events that are in public venues such as park it can be difficult to hold a decent conversation with anyone. By having in-home hosted playdates it allows for a smaller gathering of members and a better opportunity to really get to know another mother. Moms who choose to host a playdate can decide the day/time, how many to invite, location, and if they'd like an all-ages or age-specific playdate. The different age-based playgroups we have are listed below:

How's about Hosting a Play Date or Event for Kinder Moms!
Who:YOU! Anyone in our group is welcomed to host a playdate or event for Kinder Moms! We just can't do it alone!!! The Organizers of Kinder Moms work hard to
provide several monthly kid-friendly events for the whole group but without moms like yourself to host we'd be missing out on opportunities for our kids to play with others.
What: What do I need to provide to host a playdate? Just a few hours of your time. Playdates don't need to be extravagant or themed, all that is required is a safe environment for kids to play. However, if you do want to spice it up a bit and do a themed playdate the Organizers can help you.
Where: Majority of playdates take place in your own
home as it provides an already kid-friendly place for
everyone to gather but playdates can be held at local
community venues as well like the playground at the park or the local museum. We understand that not everyone is able to host at their home so this is another option.
When: Whenever you can!! All schedules are different
for everyone so you come up with the best time, date, kids age group and details and we'll post it on the calendar and email the group to let them know. Not all playdates need to happen at a specific time and sometimes holding them in the later afternoons, evenings or even on weekends works great for many who work or don't have as flexible schedules.
Why: Because we all need to get out of our own homes for a change! Because it allows are kids to learn to socialize, play nicely, share, and create lasting friendships! Because moms need to chat, too!!
